Kelly Kimpton, Christine Marchetti, and Kim Jonasson, the actors of DLT’s hit Comedy Myth of the Ostrich from earlier this season met with Sherri who was representing Free Mom Hugs of Southern Ontario. The cast was happy to be able to deliver a cheque to her representing fundraising efforts collected from patrons, cast and crew during the run of their show, in the amount of $1303.50.
Sherri was able to share about the wonderful work the Huggers are preparing for in the coming prom and pride seasons. As a grassroots organization they are always looking for ways to get their message across to the broader community. Sherri said they were grateful for the donation which will go along way to help them continue their mission to love and support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
