2020-2021 Season (Postponed)

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dundas Little Theatre has postponed the plays planned for the 2020-21 season. These plays will now be performed in the following order when live theatrical performances are allowed to resume. Watch this space!

Doubt, A Parable by John Patrick Shanley
What happens to your faith when you start to doubt the intentions of those in positions of trust? Doubt is a gripping one-act play about a senior nun’s suspicion that a male priest is abusing a young boy. In 2008 it was turned into a film starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman that garnered five Academy Award nominations.

Verdict by Agatha Christie
Twists and turns from the Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie, are guaranteed in this ethical melodrama.  A lesser-known 1958 play that abandons the usual Christie formula to reveal the struggle between right and wrong. Christie herself considered this to be her finest effort written for the stage.

An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley
A police inspector pays a surprise visit to the house of a prominent businessman and his family. He claims it’s his duty to investigate whether foul play is behind the suicide of a local young woman. But surely he has come to the wrong address? This classic mystery by the author of Laburnum Grove (DLT, 2017) has intrigued four generations of theatregoers and is now considered to be his greatest play.
